Internationally-recognized performers Adriana Contino and Michael Unger present an innovative program inspired by the rich art of improvisation in the Baroque era. This dynamic duo utilizes period instruments for their program featuring Benedetto Marcello's Sonata in E Minor, free improvisations, and Johann Sebastian Bach's beloved solo cello and keyboard suites re-imagined as duets.

Impressive young virtuoso Alcee Chriss, III, performs as part of the award for winning second prize in the 2017 Arthur Poister Competition. Chriss's accolades include the Firmin Swinnen second prize at the prestigious Longwood Gardens international competition, and first prize at the Miami International Organ Competition, the Albert Schweitzer Organ Competition, the Fort Wayne Organ Competition, and the AGO/Quimby Regional Competition for Young Organists. His eclectic program on the Hendricks Chapel Holtkamp organ will include favorites by Bach, Boely, Litaize, and Reger.

Jose "Peppie" Calvar and the Hendricks Chapel Choir team up with Syracuse University string players led by professor Laura Bossert to present a special concert commemorating the Holocaust. Steve Reich's Different Trains for string quartet and tape, and Donald McCullough's Holocaust Cantata for choir, piano, cello, and narrator provide the heart of this program centered on the theme of hope.
