It's 1959 and the former players of the All-American Girls Baseball League are finding times to be tough since the disbanding of the league. So is former manager Jimmy Doagin who has spent his last penny, and everybody else's last penny, to open a nightclub in hopes of exploiting whatever fame the girls have left (in whatever way he can).
